Updated project rendering – 34° N

Another project rendering update – I guess it is officially a theme this week. Here is the upgrade to the GCC rendering. This one has the best head of steam in the office right now it seems, and we are working through CD’s now. Construction is set to begin in 2010, and it is going to be great. Now if I can just convince my wife that we need to attend the ribbon-cutting on our new custom bike it would be perfect.

Rev it up

Here are some progress images of the design for Gila County Chopper. The second floor deck is going to allow for incredible views, and will double as extended display areas for bikes on special occasions. The new masonry wall that has been added is reusing existing masonry that is on already site. The current plan is seeking a LEED Certified level.

As the design progresses, it is really starting to take on the personality of the owners, and feel like it is a great backdrop to the bikes themselves.

GCC – Initial design strategies

Here are some progress images of the beginnings of the design for the cycle / brew pub project in Strawberry. We are working today on making some changes after our conversation with the Owners, but I thought these might be interesting to post, and we can watch the design progress over the next month.

Gila County Chopper – New Client

I’d like to take a moment to welcome some brand new clients to the RESET family – Gila County Chopper.  Rocky and Mo at Gila County have plans to open a new and bigger shop in 2010 for the creation of their amazing rides (see images below), and they want to incorporate a craft brew pub and small cafe on a lot in Strawberry, Arizona. The site is absolutely amazing, has incredible panoramic views, and seems perfectly situated to take advantage of all the seasonal motorcycle traffic along highway 87.

And the best part is this – they are really concerned about sustainability. They want to touch the ground lightly, reuse/repurpose some of the salvaged materials on site, and incorporate as many environmentally-sensitive practices as possible.  This is going to be an amazing project, and we’ll post regular public updates here if you’d like to follow the progress.
