34°N – Gila County Chopper

This 4,000 s.f. project in Strawberry, Arizona is situated on a beautiful sloping site and opens to amazing panoramic views. The upper space houses the new custom shop of Gila County Chopper, there are plans for a functioning brew pub below. The second floor deck is open to both uses, and takes full advantage of the sloping site to maximize the view. Sustainable strategies are used throughout the design, including reuse of existing found masonry, a prefab delivery system of the building shell, geothermal heating and cooling system, and a large solar array.

Construction is set to begin in 2010.
